Act now to saveNext Blog: World Congress: things to do and see around Cascais, Portugal The Di5ru.pt blog Vivendi CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Arnaud de Puyfontaine, is among the first group of speakers confirmed for the 44th FIPP World Media Congress. He joins among others Axel Springer’s Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Ralph Büchi, and Dotdash Meredith Chief Business Officer Alysia Borsa. The World Media Congress takes place from 7-9 June in Cascais, Portugal. FIPP’s flagship event will be live and in-person for the first time since November 2019 in Las Vegas (due to you know what!). French-based media giant Vivendi appointed De Puyfontaine as Chairman of the Management Board and CEO in June 2014, after joining the group earlier that year. Before Vivendi, De Puyfontaine held positions at, among others, Hearst Magazines International and Hearst UK, Editions Mondadori France and EMAP. His keynote at Congress will focus on the broader media industry, including macro trends impacting or set to influence media. It will challenge attendees to think about the future of their organisations and brands. It will also encourage them to consider their relationships with audiences and how macro trends may change these relationships in future. Around 50 speakers from around the world will attend Congress. They also include recently formed Dotdash meredith Chief Business Officer Alysia Borsa. Dotdash acquired Meredith in late 2021.
