Tell us about your business

Syno International provides connected people data with speed and efficiency. We have a toolbox with technical solutions for media houses for insights, better ad-targeting and more. We work today already with Bonnier (Sweden), Schibsted (Norway) and Mainichi (Japan) to mention a few of the bigger media houses.

Tell us about your role in the business

I’m the CEO and involved in the strategy of the business but also with the sales process and helping clients to utilize our technology in the best way.

What do you see as the three main challenges for media?

  • Advertising income from online making up for the loss of revenue from offline
  • Enough people inside the paywall (subscription revenue and user data)
  • Knowing your customer/reader (who they are, what they want)

What do you see as the three main opportunities for media?

  • Building up solutions to increase advertising efficiency and revenue
  • Finding a correct way of working with paywalls that work for their type of media
  • Building up their own data on customers/readers to know more about them and in this way be able to generate more revenue from the same user base and at the same time deliver better services to them.

Why should people meet with you at the Congress?

If they are looking for solutions for user insights, ad-targeting and validation and would like to have a solution that can help them make the business more data-driven.
