Tell us a little more about yourself.

I’m half-Swedish and half-American and grew up in Paris. I’m passionate about EU politics, technology, defense, transatlantic relations and being a dad to two small kids.

Tell us about your earlier career.

I worked for Reuters as a politics and economics correspondent for seven years before joining POLITICO as one of its first hires in 2015. As a political reporter in Paris, I covered the far-right and Marine Le Pen’s rise to power. I’ve continued to report and publish stories as an editor.

Tell us about your current role.

My job is focused on supporting a newsroom of 70+ Pro journalists based in several EU hubs. I see my main mission as helping reporters publish high-impact stories, but there is also a substantial strategic component — figuring out how to innovate and grow in our space.
