As those of you who follow our posts will (hopefully, by now!) know, the FIPP World Media Congress will take place in Cascais, on the outskirts of Lisbon, from 7-9 June. Over recent years, Lisbon has developed into one of Europe’s hottest startup hubs.

At the Congress, Miguel Fontes of Startup Lisboa will tell us more about how Lisbon got its entrepreneurial groove back (we are sure the location helps!). Another local speaker is Catarina Carvalho, an experienced editor who co-founded Mensagem de Lisboa, a local news startup. Di5rupt is also working with Startup Lisboa to bring some of their media and related startups to Congress. More on that later.
