About Mx3 Berlin Mx3 Berlin is an English-medium international event on 19 & 20 October, hosted at Fabrik23 in Berlin, Germany. It is off-the-record, allowing participants to freely speak their minds about challenges, opportunities and solutions for the sector. It will include fireside chats, panel discussions, round tables, and networking opportunities. See the draft agenda here See the speakers so far confirmed here Attendance will be limited to just a hundred participants to ensure a highly interactive, participatory event where speakers and attendees contribute alike to the success of the event. Di5rupt organises and hosts the event with Deutsche Fachpresse, the German B2B Media Association, and MVFP, the German Free Press Media Association (previously VDZ), as the local media partner. Read more about the organisers here. Meet Chloe Combi, Mx3 Berlin speaker Tell us a little about yourself. I am a bit of a professional dilettante – I write (am currently starting my second book, How to Save the World), speak, consult – everything from major brands to joining an American Presidential campaign for 6 months, direct films (most recent one for Meta), and all this is underpinned by research. I’ve done about over 10,000 interviews. All my work focuses on younger generations, primarily Gen Z and now Gen A. Tell us about your earlier career. When I left uni, I didn’t know what to do, and my grandmother who was dying, told me to teach for a bit and it would all become clear. I did, and it did! Tell us about your current role. My current role is almost indefinable – see point 1 – but if you were to absolutely define it, I’d probably be a generational expert! What do you see as the main challenges for B2B/special interest media verticals? How quickly it changes, particularly for young people and how slow the industry is to catch up. What do you see as the main opportunities for B2B/special interest media verticals? If you can figure out what changes are coming and become an early adopter, you can become a real power broker. Clue: you should already know what’s going to go off after TikTok, which Gen A actually don’t like and already think is passe! Meet Chloe at Media Makers Meet (Mx3 Berlin) in October!
